Edinburgh University Settlement (EUS) works to provide effective and lasting social and community development that respects the whole person and the dignity and diversity of all people.
At EUS’s Volunteer Centre we support students, graduates, university staff and members of the public to engage with their community at a local or international level. If you have the time, energy and enthusiasm to commit to volunteering, then we can help you.
Through our Community Link and World Link programmes we can arrange volunteering opportunities for anyone – as long as you are over 18!
You may be a student looking for an international project to fill up your summer holiday or gap year; a student or graduate looking for relevant experience; a postgraduate student who would like support to research their thesis; someone who wants to research a funding opportunity or an idea for a social project; a retired graduate looking for a new challenge; someone who would like to change careers, or get back into the working world after a long break.
Whatever your needs or interests, EUS Volunteer Centre can support you to achieve your goals.
We are based in Potterrow next to the Chaplaincy, within the University of Edinburgh Student Centre. We are open Monday – Friday, 9.00am – 5.00pm. You can pop in for a chat anytime, or make an appointment by e-mailing Lynne at Community Link.
