Roxy Art House - New Artistic Director

Edinburgh University Settlement are very pleased to announce the appointment of Rupert Thomson as Artistic Director and Manager of the Roxy Art House, EUS’ multi-purpose arts centre on Roxburgh Place.

Rupert joins us following a very successful time as Editor of The Skinny magazine, and we are looking forward to working alongside him on the continued development of the Roxy Art House into a major arts centre for Edinburgh, with a growing and diverse programme of events, workshops and exhibitions, and a clear remit to be inspiring, sustainable, and inclusive.

He replaces Daniel Gorman, who will be leaving to continue and develop his work in Reel Festivals, focusing on spreading awareness of areas in conflict through the arts.
